Advanced Trade Management (ATM) Strategies allow for the automatic placement of predefined Stop Loss and Profit Target orders immediately after an entry order is filled.
These exit orders use OCO (One Cancels the Other) functionality, meaning when either the Profit Target or Stop Loss is triggered, the other is automatically canceled. This type of setup is commonly known as a bracket order.
Please note that ATM Strategies cannot be applied to an already active position. They are only submitted when attached to a new Entry order. To learn how to apply a bracket order exit strategy to an unprotected, open position, please visit this page: One-Time OCO Orders

How to Create ATM Strategies
To start configuring a custom ATM Strategy for use in the KGI Crusoe platform, click the ATM Settings cogwheel located next to the ATM dropdown at the top of a Chart or SuperDOM module.

In the ATM Settings window, start by toggling ATMs to On, then enter a custom Name for your strategy. Next, input your desired Stop Loss and Profit Target values (measured in ticks by default), and click Save.

Important Note: ATM Strategy Templates are saved on a per-instrument basis in the KGI Crusoe platform. For example, a strategy built in a module with NQ selected would not be selectable in a module with ES selected.
For additional customization, the following settings are also available in the ATM Settings window, allowing you to fine-tune how your strategy behaves.
Setting | Description |
|---|---|
ATM Name | Click the + button to give your strategy a custom name, select an existing strategy from the dropdown to modify it, or click the trashcan icon next to a template's name to delete it. |
Show In | Set up your ATM Strategy using Ticks (default), Delta Price, or Dollar Value. |
Type | Create an ATM Strategy with both a Stop Loss and Profit Target (default), a Stop Loss only, or a Profit Target only. |
Profit | Set your Profit Target amount. All Profit Target orders use the Limit order type. |
Stop | Set your initial Stop Loss amount (Stop Market order type by default). |
Stop Loss Type | There are seven possible configuration types available for your Stop Loss in KGI Crusoe platform. Please see the section below for setup and usage details. |
Adding More Stops and Targets
Click the blue + button next to the "Type" dropdown to add additional separate targets to your strategy, each with its own Target and Stop configuration.

Available Stop Loss Types
There are seven different configurable Stop Loss Types available for ATM Strategies in the KGI Crusoe platform. To learn more about all the different order types in general, please visit this page: Types of Futures Orders
Stop Loss Type | Description |
|---|---|
Stop | The default Stop Market order type with no enhanced behavior. |
Stop Limit | Stop Limit order type. You can set a Limit offset using the “Stop Limit” box when selected.
|
Trail Stop | Stop Market order with a Trailing Stop, which will move with the market if your trade is profitable, and stop trailing if your trade no longer moves in a profitable direction. |
Trail Stop Limit | The same Trailing Stop behavior as above, but with a Stop Limit order type instead of a Stop Market. |
Auto Breakeven | Stop Market order that will move to the breakeven (Average Entry Price) of your position after reaching a specified “Profit Trigger.” |
Auto Trail | Stop Market order that will begin trailing (following) the market once the “Profit Trigger” is reached. |
Auto Breakeven + Auto Trail | A combination stop strategy that will move the stop once after an Auto Breakeven is triggered and then begin Auto Trailing the market after the next profit trigger, or vice-versa. |
Trading With ATM Strategies
Once you've configured and saved your custom ATM Strategy template, you can begin trading with it by selecting it from the ATM dropdown at the top of your Chart or SuperDOM module before placing your entry order.
When trading with an ATM Strategy selected in the dropdown, your Stop Loss and/or Profit Target orders will automatically be placed after your Entry order fills. Once either your Stop Loss or Profit Target is filled, the remaining order(s) will automatically be canceled.
Your position's average entry price will appear in blue between your Stop Loss and Profit Target bracket orders.

Clicking the X next to an order’s price will cancel that specific order. Keep in mind, this action does not affect any other working orders tied to your strategy, nor does it modify your open position.
If you want to close your open position, use the Close button at the top of the Chart or SuperDOM module. To cancel all working orders at once, select Cancel All from the dropdown next to the Close button.
Learn more here: Close, Reverse, & Cancel Buttons To move a working stop loss or profit target to a different price level while in an active trade, click and hold its order flag along the Price Scale (Y-axis), drag it to the desired price level, and release.
Deleting ATM Strategy Templates
To remove saved ATM Strategy templates in the KGI Crusoe platform, follow the steps below:
Click the ATM configuration icon (gear) in your SuperDOM or Chart module.
Click on the ATM Name dropdown.
Hover over the ATM Strategy you want to delete and click on the “trash can” icon to remove the saved template.
Please note that this action cannot be undone.

Additional Notes
The dollar value of pending Stop Loss and Profit Target orders is not displayed on chart order markers. Order markers show the price level of the order only. To calculate the dollar value, multiply the number of ticks between your entry price and the order price by the tick value for that instrument. For more information: Tick Size & Tick Value.
