Configuring the Positions Module
By default, the Positions module opens in Compact view, showing each of your open positions in individual rows within the grid.

If the module appears empty, it means there are no open positions on your connected account(s). However, it's recommended to check the Orders module to ensure there are no pending orders that could unexpectedly open a position before you log out at the end of your trading session.
Standard View
Clicking the slider at the top of the Positions module switches the view from Compact to Standard. This expanded view displays additional details for each position, such as average entry prices and available margin utilization, though it uses more screen space.

Right-Click Menu
Right-clicking on a specific position within the Positions module opens a menu that lets you perform various actions related to the selected instrument, including the ability to close the open position.
Below is a complete list of functions available in the right-click menu:
Tool | Definition |
|---|---|
Quote Info | Opens the selected instrument in its own Quote Info module. |
Alerts | Set up a custom, condition-based alert for the selected instrument. |
Trade | Opens the Trading module for the selected instrument, allowing you to place orders from the Positions module. |
Exit at Mkt & Cxl | Closes the selected position by canceling all pending orders and submitting market orders in the opposite direction to flatten it. |
At the bottom of the right-click menu, you can drag and drop a new SuperDOM, Chart, or T&S (Time & Sales) module into your workspace, with the selected instrument automatically loaded.

In addition to using the right-click menu, you can Close open positions directly from the Standard view in the Positions module by hovering your cursor over a position and clicking the Exit button that appears.

Customizing Columns
You can reorganize rows by clicking a column header to sort by that parameter. To resize rows, click and drag the border between column headers at the top of the module.
To customize the columns in your Positions module, click the View Settings (cogwheel icon) at the top-right corner of the module and choose "Select Columns".

In the menu that appears, drag columns from the Available list to the Visible list to add them, or drag columns from Visible back to Available to remove them.
