Accessing the Alerts Menu
To create or edit alerts in the KGI Crusoe platform, click the bell-shaped Alerts icon located in the top-left corner of the screen, next to the New + menu button.

This will open the New Alert menu, where you can start setting up a new alert and access your Alerts Log.
Simple Alerts
Simple Alerts allow you to set up a single condition alert based on the price of an Instrument, Position, or Account parameter hitting a specified value.
To create a Simple Alert, follow the steps below:
Step 1
Choose whether your alert will be triggered based on the price of a specific Instrument, a Position parameter value, or an Account parameter value.

Step 2
If you're creating a Position- or Instrument-based alert, search for and select the specific instrument using a symbol or keyword. For Account-based alerts, choose the relevant account number from the dropdown menu.

Step 3
Choose the specific Parameter that the alert will be based on. You can find a complete list of available Instrument, Account, and Position parameters at the bottom of the page for reference.

Step 4
Choose the condition that will trigger the alert, whether the parameter should be greater than, less than, or equal to the value you set.

Step 5
Enter the specific Value at which the alert should trigger once the set conditions are met, using your keyboard and/or the arrow buttons on the right.

Step 6
Lastly, you can optionally enter a Message to display when the alert is triggered, using the text box provided. Then, choose how long the alert should remain active in the Duration dropdown, either until it is triggered, manually canceled, or until a specific date and time.
Once your alert is fully configured, click Create to activate it. You can monitor the status of your alert in the Alerts Log.
In the screenshot below, this example Alert has been configured to trigger once the price of GC is greater than $4500.

Advanced Alerts
Advanced Alerts are set up similarly to Simple Alerts, but they offer the added flexibility of configuring multiple unique conditions.
You can specify whether the alert should trigger when all conditions are met or when any single condition is met. To add more conditions, click the green +Add button. If you need to remove a condition, simply click the trash can icon next to it.

Alerts Log
The Alerts Log lets you view all Active, Triggered, and Disabled alerts in your workspace. For each alert, you’ll see its conditions, message, expiration time, and the number of times it has been triggered.
Hover over any listed alert to quickly Edit, Reset (re-arm), Dismiss, or Delete it.

Once an alert is triggered, your browser will play a sound, and the bell-shaped Alerts icon at the top of your workspace will display a red notification dot. If you included a custom message with your alert, it will also appear in a small flag beneath the bell icon for easy visibility.

Available Alert Parameters
The following table lists all available Parameters that can be used to trigger alerts based on each alert type:
