The timed Flatten Today feature allows you to schedule a specific time at which all pending orders are canceled and all open positions are automatically flattened across your connected accounts in the KGI Crusoe platform.
Contracts that have pending (working or suspended) orders but no open positions will not be affected by the Flatten Today feature.
To set up the Flatten Today feature, follow the steps below:
Step 1
First, click the Cash Balance / Unrealized PnL button located at the top of the screen next to your account number. In the menu that appears, click Flatten Today.

Step 2
In the Flatten Today pop-up, you can enable the timed flatten feature and choose a specific time for the current day when all your orders will be canceled and open positions flattened automatically.
"When enabled, for any contracts with open positions, your working or suspended orders will be canceled and your positions will be automatically exited at the time you enter for the current calendar day. For contracts with flat positions, working or suspended orders will continue to be working or suspended."

Step 3
After you click Submit, the Flatten Today feature becomes active. At the specified time, all open positions in the selected account will be automatically closed, and any working orders will be canceled.

The Flatten Today button appears green when enabled and red when disabled. Any open positions that will be affected by the Flatten Today feature are listed next to the button in the Cash Balance dropdown.

Please note that once the Flatten Today function is executed, it resets automatically. You’ll need to re-enable it for each session, as it does not renew on its own.
Important: Initial margin requirements begin at 3:45 PM Central Time for all contracts. If your account does not meet these requirements, the Trade Desk may begin closing positions at that time, even if you have Flatten Today scheduled later. To avoid this, set your Flatten Today time to 3:45 PM Central or earlier. For more information, see Futures Trading Hours.
