Additional Notes
Holiday Trading Hours for Evaluation Accounts
Because evaluation service providers cannot disable trading on a per-product basis, trading will generally be halted for all products on evaluation accounts during holiday market hours and trading halts.
Non-holiday Trading Hours
The normal trading hours for equity index instruments (non-holidays) are 5 pm to 4 pm the next day, Sunday through Friday.
Upcoming Events and Holidays
You may view a full list of upcoming holidays, rollovers, last trade dates, and announcements that may temporarily affect margin requirements from the Upcoming Eventscalendar on the right side of the homepage on your KGI Crusoe platform.
Trade Date Reporting
When trades are placed during the pre-Open period following a holiday or trading halt, they are often recorded as part of the next trade date. This is also reflected on your charts through the "Trading Hours Break Line." For example:
If a trade is placed during the pre-Open on Monday, January 19th, it will be reported as part of the Tuesday, January 20th trade date.
On your chart, all pre-Open trading activity from Monday, January 19th, will be grouped with the trading session for Tuesday, January 20th.
As a result, no Trading Hours Break Line will appear between the two sessions, indicating they are treated as part of the same trade date.
