When an order is rejected, KGI Crusoe will provide a rejection reason that explains why the order could not be processed. Understanding this message is an important first step in troubleshooting order issues, as the rejection reason will often identify what is preventing orders from being placed on your account — whether that is insufficient margin, account restrictions, invalid order parameters, or another underlying cause. This article covers how to locate your order rejection reason across all three KGI Crusoe platforms.

When an order is rejected, a red notification banner will appear at the top of the screen indicating the rejection. Clicking on this notification will immediately display the rejection reason.

Alternatively, you can open the Orders module by clicking the plus sign (+) in the top left corner of the platform and dragging the Orders module onto your workspace. From there, locate the rejected order and double left-click on it to open the Order Details window.

Whether accessed through the notification or the Orders module, the Order Details window will display the full reason for the rejection.
